Problems in the production process of spray dryer
The possible problems and causes and remedial measures in the production of spray dryer are summarized below for reference in operation.
1. The main reason for the serious wall sticking phenomenon is that there are wet powder sticking everywhere in the drying room
(1) The feed is too large to fully evaporate;
(2) the drying chamber is not heated enough before the start of the spray.
(3) when the spray is started, the cutting flow rate is too large.
(4) The added liquid is unstable.
According to the different reasons of the above problems, the following measures can be taken in turn:
(1) Reduce the feed quantity properly;
(2) The inlet and outlet temperature of hot air should be increased properly;
(3) when starting the spray, the flow rate should be small, gradually increase, and adjust to the appropriate time.
(4) Check whether the pipeline is blocked, adjust the solid content of the material to ensure the fluidity of the material liquid.
2. The moisture content of the product is too high
The exhaust temperature is the main factor affecting the moisture content of the finished product, so the reason for the high moisture content of the product is that the exhaust temperature is too low, and the exhaust air temperature can be adjusted by the feed quantity.
Therefore, the corresponding measures are to reduce the feed quantity properly to improve the exhaust temperature.
3. The possible causes of this situation are low purity and excessive impurities in the product are as follows:
(1) The air filtration effect is not good;
(2) The powder is mixed into the finished product;
(3) The purity of raw materials is not high;
(4) The equipment is not cleaned thoroughly.
The remedies available are:
(1) Check whether the filter material is laid evenly in the air filter, whether the filter is used for too long, and replace it immediately if it is;
(2) Check the coke powder at the hot air inlet to overcome the eddy current;
(3) the material should be filtered before spraying.
(4) Clean the equipment again.
4. Too fine product particles will affect its solubility and flushing performance:
The reason is that the solid content is too low or the feed is too small.
The remedy measures are to increase the solid content of the feed liquid, increase the feed quantity and raise the air temperature.
5. The phenomenon of powder running is serious, and the product yield is low, and the loss of powder running is too much, which greatly affects the yield of finished products:
The general reason is that the separation effect of cyclone separator is poor.
If this happens, check whether the cyclone separator is deformed due to knocking or collision; Improve the air tightness of the inlet and outlet of cyclone separator, and check whether there is any accumulation blockage in the inner wall and outlet of cyclone separator. Of course, the separation efficiency is also related to the specific gravity and particle size of powder. Some materials can increase the secondary dust removal according to the needs.
6. The rotating speed of centrifugal nozzle is too low:
The main reason is that the centrifugal nozzle parts have failed.
Therefore, stop using the nozzle and check the parts inside the nozzle.
7. The reason for the low evaporation is that:
(1) The air volume of the whole system is reduced;
(2) The inlet temperature of hot air is low;
(3) The equipment has air leakage and cold air enters the drying room.
The remedy is:
(1) Check whether the speed of centrifuge is normal;
(2) Check whether the position of the centrifuge regulating valve is correct;
(3) Check whether the air filter and air heater pipe are blocked;
(4) Check whether the grid voltage is normal;
(5) Check whether the electric heater works normally;
(6) Check whether the connection of each component of the equipment is sealed.
8. Noise or vibration of centrifugal nozzle during operation:
The residual substances or spindle in the spray disk are bent and deformed mainly due to improper cleaning and maintenance of the nozzle, and it may be that the dynamic balance of the centrifugal disc is not good.
terms of settlement:
(1) check whether there is any residual substance in the spray tray, if necessary, clean it in time.
(2) If the spindle is found to be abnormal, it should be replaced;
(3) Readjust or replace the dynamic balance of the centrifugal disc.
